Judge Hamilton struck down the informed consent law in Indiana, a commonsense law requiring abortionists to inform women of their right to an ultrasound as well as the potential dangers of having an abortion.
Fortunately, a higher court overruled Judge Hamilton, calling his ruling “an abuse of [judicial] discretion.”
Not only is this law proven to save lives, striking it from the law would have made abortion the only procedure where the patient did not have to be informed of the potential hazards of the surgery beforehand.
Let your Senators know that you want your elected representatives in charge of making laws, not unelected radical judicial activists like David Hamilton.
