URGENT ACTION ALERT!

This is an updated Action Alert from one sent yesterday, Feb. 2.

The legislature delayed action on LB 540 until Monday Feb. 6. So please continue calling or emailing your state senator–and any other senators with whom you might be acquainted–and express this message:

“Please vote against LB 540! We do not want more
taxpayer funds going to Planned Parenthood.”

Please call or email immediately!

LB 540 would expand Medicaid payments for contraceptive family planning services so that approximately 26,000 more women would become eligible for these taxpayer-funded services. Planned Parenthood would be a major beneficiary of these guaranteed taxpayer-funded payments.

Only the voices of constituents will stop this bad policy. Act soon in opposition to LB 540.
