Since the 40 Days for Life campaign started a few years ago, they have counted 7,000 babies saved because of the prayer support outside of abortion clinics!
In the Omaha area many churches have participated in this prayerful, effective witness to mothers contemplating the abortion of her child.
Although this happens during Lent and again in the fall, a prayerful witness is ALWAYS needed throughout the year. Please think about donating an hour a week – for the LIFE of a child.

Comments on our Buffett Picket

Thank you Grace for the photos and thanks to everyone who came to the picket early Saturday morning. It was really early but I think well worth the effort to witness to the thousands of people what an abortion “Choice” really is and the fact that Buffett is funding the killing of millions of unborn babies.

We had 9 people there and covered every corner and entrance of the Century Link center with the aborted baby signs and the “Buffett’s billions kill millions” signs. Joe Ferrante and Sam were hassled by some security guards when we first arrived telling them they would have to stand across the street, but then the Century Link people told us we had a right to stand on the property. They made Sam sign some kind of paper but let him stay at the same spot in front of the building.

Maris Bentley said she had some good conversations with people walking by and handed out a lot of the literature about Buffett’s funding of abortion. Next year I will make more copies. Many people told us the same old comments we usually hear like “get a job” and “get a life”. Most of the people that walked by my aborted baby sign looked at it. The police did not bother us except when we tried to load the signs in Dave’s truck in front of the building. They told us we must walk to a loading zone which we did.

Thanks to Dave Zebolsky for bringing his truck so we could load the signs in it. Thanks to Nebraskans United for Life for buying the signs.

Hopefully, some of the Buffett shareholders will have a change of heart about the abortion issue. It was a very successful picket, and I hope we can get more people to participate next year.

Mother’s Day AD will again be in the OWH

We have used billboards to get our message of the importance of life to Nebraskans the last few years.
Before that we listed all the names in a full-page ad in the Omaha World Herald and we will do it again this year. The Sunday OWH goes across Nebraska and it is a way that we show pro-life strength.
