Ambulance responds to call at Planned Parenthood

NOTE: Nebraskans United for Life has confirmed that the ambulance left without transporting a patient. We do, however, remain prayerful for those connected with abortion.

While praying outside Omaha’s Planned Parenthood, sidewalk counselors were caught by surprise when an ambulance pulled up to the abortion mill at 3105 N. 93rd St. on Monday, Oct. 2, 2017. One who prays regularly in the public space nearby said that while medical emergencies have happened during abortions at multiple places around the nation*, seeing an ambulance at Omaha’s PP was a rare occasion. Whether the person needing medical attention was an abortion patient, an abortion staff member or someone simply visiting the facility, we ask that you please pray for them all.

A City of Omaha first responder participates in the emergency call to the Omaha Planned Parenthood abortion mill on Monday, Oct. 1, 2017.

*The U.S. National Library of Medicine reported the following review concerning unsafe abortion:

  • About half of U.S. abortion procedures, 20 million, are unsafe.
  • Some 68,000 women die of unsafe abortion annually, making it one of the leading causes of maternal mortality (13%).
  • Of the women who survive unsafe abortion, 5 million will suffer long-term health complications.

What they do not report is that abortion is “unsafe” for the human in the womb.

In Omaha’s suburb of Bellevue, for instance, many women have suffered from “botched” abortions, during the procedure by abortionist Leroy Carhart. Until the end of 2016, Carhart operated a clinic in Maryland as well as the abortion mill in Bellevue. (See “Leroy Carhart botches third abortion of 2013.”)

Please, if you have not signed up to pray as part of the 40 Days for Life vigil that runs through Nov. 5, email to sign up.

Not only do unborn children need your prayers for protection, women and those working in the industry need prayer as well. Let them know you care.
