Join us for the March for Life in Washington, D.C.

The March for Life in Washington, D.C. takes place every year in order “to provide Americans with a place to testify to the beauty of life and the dignity of each human person.” To that end, Nebraskans United for Life will host a group for the March. Would you like to join us?

For less than $1,000, you can join our team and take part in this historic March for Life. We are set to fly out of Omaha on a non-stop flight the morning of Jan. 16 and will arrive back in Omaha by 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 20. Learn more by calling Ann Marie Bowen at 402-399-0299.

Why do people from around the nation take to the streets of D.C. in the middle of January’s winter? The March for Life website states that in the now-infamous decisions in Roe v Wade and Doe v Bolton, on Jan. 22, 1973, the Supreme Court invalidated 50 state laws by making abortion legal and available on demand. With that, the March for Life in Washington, D.C. began as a small demonstration and rapidly grew to be the largest pro-life event in the world.  The peaceful demonstration that has followed on this somber anniversary every year since that time is a witness to the truth concerning the greatest human rights violation of our time, legalized abortion on demand.

Both in January, on the anniversary of legalized abortion in the US, and throughout the year we bring together pro-life leaders and groups to organize, unite and strategize around a common message, and to communicate this message to the government, the media and the nation in a way that is powerful and life affirming.
