Helping new families

At Nebraskans United for Life, we protect and take care of life at every stage. We are here to help anyone in need. We provide food and other personal care items to the homeless and near homeless through Blue Dream Ministries: weekly donations go to the poor directly and a portion of it goes to the Stephen Center and the Bethlehem House. Blue Dream, referred a pregnant young lady to us. After some counseling, we found out that she was in bed rest due to problems with her kidneys. Missing Girl Needs Your Help

Nebraskans United for Life was saddened to learn that Cindy Valle has gone missing. She is a 15 years old, Hispanic, 5’2″ girl with black hair and brown eyes with a child on the way soon. She has our prayers for her and her child and access to the full resources of our organization allocated for prenatal and ongoing care, including food, clothing, etc. We will continue to show our support for her and would ask for your vigilance both in prayer and keeping an eye out for her. Senator Johanns e-Update October 6, 2011 In a letter today, I called on the Administration to live up to promises made during the health care debate by the President and some in Congress to protect conscience rights. The Department of Health and Human Services recently proposed a rule to implement the new health care law requiring all new health insurance plans to provide preventative services, including contraceptives and the “morning after” pill, at no cost to the patient.
