    2012 NUFL ENDORSED CANDIDATES

The Nebraskans United for Life PAC sent questionnaires to ALL CANDIDATES seeking election in Nebraska. A candidate must be 100 percent pro-life in order to be endorsed by NUFL. There is NO acceptable reason for an abortion. Human life is precious from conception until natural death – including embryos, destroyed for stem cell research. 40 Days for Life

Since the 40 Days for Life campaign started a few years ago, they have counted 7,000 babies saved because of the prayer support outside of abortion clinics!
In the Omaha area many churches have participated in this prayerful, effective witness to mothers contemplating the abortion of her child.
Although this happens during Lent and again in the fall, a prayerful witness is ALWAYS needed throughout the year. Please think about donating an hour a week – for the LIFE of a child.

2009 March for Life

2009 March for Life Recap
Pro-Life Events
Hello Everyone,

Thank you for your support of the March for Life. We had a very, very successful event with a larger crowd than we have seen in many years. Your commitment and tireless efforts were well rewarded.

As you may know, this was my first year working with the administrative aspects of the March. As a former hotel manager, the learning curve was not as steep as it could have been for someone else. Nevertheless, there were plenty of educational opportunities for me. This year, the Hyatt Regency instituted a new procedure for making reservations that should have eliminated most of the clerical errors that have occurred in the past. They provided me with a spreadsheet template that should have allowed them to upload the reservation information I submitted directly into their computer system. Unfortunately, it didn’t work and they ended up transferring all the information manually. That, of course, increased the possibility of errors. I think we caught and corrected most of the mistakes in advance, but I’m sure that some must have slipped by. I would like to hear about every reservation related problem that occurred at the hotel. If I only know about one or two, the hotel staff will be inclined to dismiss them as isolated in cidents. If I know about them all, perhaps we will be able to identify a problem area that we can correct for future reservations.

We will be meeting with the hotel staff in the next week or so to block space for next year. Your comments about everything (rooms, reservations, front desk service, food service, etc.) will be given voice at that time.

Also, as we lay the groundwork for next year, I would appreciate hearing from you about your overall experience. Please tell me what worked well for you, what went poorly, and what you would suggest to improve things for next year. There are many areas of our operation where we see a need for improvement, from the web site to the Rose Dinner, plus just about everything in between. Any information you provide will be very helpful in shaping our plan for the 37th Annual March for Life on Friday, January 22, 2010.

Thank you again for making the March for Life 2009 such a success. I look forward to hearing from you.

Best regards,

Gene
