    2012 NUFL ENDORSED CANDIDATES

The Nebraskans United for Life PAC sent questionnaires to ALL CANDIDATES seeking election in Nebraska. A candidate must be 100 percent pro-life in order to be endorsed by NUFL. There is NO acceptable reason for an abortion. Human life is precious from conception until natural death – including embryos, destroyed for stem cell research. 40 Days for Life

Since the 40 Days for Life campaign started a few years ago, they have counted 7,000 babies saved because of the prayer support outside of abortion clinics!
In the Omaha area many churches have participated in this prayerful, effective witness to mothers contemplating the abortion of her child.
Although this happens during Lent and again in the fall, a prayerful witness is ALWAYS needed throughout the year. Please think about donating an hour a week – for the LIFE of a child.

2010 Dinner for Life

Nebraskans United for life would like to thank everyone that participated in one way or another in our 2010 Annual Dinner for Life, which took place Friday, January 15th. The dinner and silent auction were a success.

We opened with Bishop Miloni’s beautiful invocation followed by awards, speakers, and an auction.

Every year, Nebraskans United for Life gives an award to a person that has proven to be a driving force in the pro-life movement; someone who has never given up, whose efforts to protect life have come first. This year, NUFL gave two awards to two wonderful pro-lifers Mary Adam and Georgia C Able, and we would like to congratulate them once more for being part of our cause.

We were proud to present Julie Marr, who told us her powerful story about rape, conceiving a son and a beautiful outcome as she gave her baby up for adoption. Julie is in the process of writing a book about her experience.

Our keynote speaker was Abby Johnson, former manager of Planned Parenthood in Bryan, Texas. She spoke about her change of heart, and the realization that abortion needs to be stopped.

In addition to our many wonderful members, volunteers, and guests, the following personalities also came to support our event:
Greg Schleppenbach Bishops’ Pastoral Plan for Pro Life Activities
Patrick McPherson(CHIP board of Directors)
John Sieler (Candidate for MUD),
Senator Pete Pirsch, District 4.
Mayor Hal Daub,
Jim Flowers, Chief Meteorologist for WOWT
Don Stenberg, Candidate for State Treasurer.
Congressman Lee Terry,
John Lillis, Candidate for legislature and NUFL’s P.A.C. Chairman.
Tim Lonergan, District 3 candidate

We were blessed with the help from the Kukala family for facilitating filming equipment and a portable screen, and the wonderful Denis and Bill, who volunteered their time and efforts recoding the events of the night.

We would life to thank everyone that participated once more, we hope to see you again next year, and of course, in order for us to continue to offer our services such as counseling, free pregnancy tests, material assistance (diapers, cribs, and much more) we will continue to need the support of our community, and volunteers.

If you have any questions on how you can help or about this event, and our speakers, please, contact us at info@nebraskansunitedforlife.org We are here to help those in need with your assistance.

God bless,
NULF.org
