A BIG THANK YOU!
We, at Nebraskans United for Life wish to thank ALL of our donors for the tremendous response to our request for items to be sold at our 28th ANNUAL GARAGE SALE.
A special thanks to the Joe Paladino family, for providing the storage unit, in advance of the sale. We were able to provide a more varied and larger amount of merchandise to be sold, than ever before, THANKS to the opportunity to collect and store items starting, as early as May.
Also, thanks to those who used their personal vehicles, vans, pick-ups and gasoline, especially Mike Bowen and Steve LaGreca, to transport the donations to and from the storage unit and the gym.
Our two co-chairwomen, Maureen Maher (who is in need of your prayers, due to a virual infection, that does not seem to be clearing up) and Carolyn LaGreca did a superb job of keeping us on a time line and working at a stevedors pace.
Last, but not least, to THE VOLUNTEERS, who sorted, priced and displayed the more than thirty tables of sellable items for four days and nights, and all the work the two days of the sale, and clean-up afterwards.
The garage sale gives us the opportunity to educate the public at-large.
We set up a display table with FREE pro-life materials, LITERATURE, little ones ( the plastic models of babies ten weeks in-utero), baby’s feet pins (10 week old, unborn babies feet) and BALLOONS to all the children, with the logo “ADOPTION NOT ABORTION”.
The funds generated from this sale help to defray the cost of fees for the fairs, festivals and other pro-life work.
This year we should net about $4,500, from the sale and wish to give one final & specal THANKS to the parish of Our Lady of Lourdes for allowing us to hold our sale in the air-conditioned gym.

Our Annual Garage Sale was a success! It was quite an event as you can see with bargains wall to wall. It took place again at Our Lady of Lourdes (air conditioned) gym on July 29th & 30th and even though it was inside, the weather still gave its best invitation with fair conditions. We would like to thank everyone that volunteered, donated, prayed, haggled, shopped and participated in other ways!
We invite you to come out again for the next Annual Garage Sale!
