Jon Blumenthal (2009)

Jon Blumenthal not answering
Voter info
04/06/2009

Candidate Jon Blumenthal (Omaha City Council – District 5), did return our questionnaire; however, he did not answer two of our questions and he wrote the following comments on them:

4.-Is it permissible to directly and intentionally abort a baby to “save” the life of a mother despite the fact that directly killing a baby has never “saved” a mother? (see the principal of double effect for ectopic pregnancies and necrotic wombs, etc…)
“Need more info.” .-Jon Blumenthal

7.-Would you sponsor , co-sponsor, support and /or vote for any City Ordinance or law, bill, resolution, citation, etc, that would definitively protect all human life from conception to natural and unaided death?
“Any is too broadly worded, but yes, in most cases.” .-Jon Blumenthal

He wouldn’t answer those questions even after a conversation with PAC Chairman John L.
