NUFL Endorsements

A lot of people might wonder how NUFL (Nebraskans United for Life, formerly Metro Right to Life) endorses candidates. (07/01/2009)

How do we endorse candidates?

(10/27/2008)
At Nebraskans United for Life, we pride ourselves in endorsing only 100% pro-life candidates. In order for us to endorse a candidate we request that they fill out our pro-life survey. After their survey is returned to us, we set up an appointment to interview the candidate. We then, decide who will be endorsed.

There are primarily two reasons for not endorsing a candidate. A candidate may choose not to fill out our survey, taking themselves out of consideration for endorsement or a candidate may not answer all questions in a way that affirms an unwavering pro-life stance on the issues. Some other issues may include a voting record showing a weak stance on pro-life issues, donations to anti-life causes or similar activities that have not been reconciled satisfactorily with Nebraskans United for Life.

Do we endorse Presidential Candidates?

(10/31/2008)
Nebraskans United for Life cannot endorse any presidential candidates due to the simple fact that it would be very unlikely that any of the candidates would fill out our questionnaires. Also, in most cases, presidential candidates are not 100% pro-life; HOWEVER, we may recommend a candidate based on his/her comments on Life Issues, such as abortion, euthanasia, etc.

Do we ever REVOKE endorsements?

Yes, we have in the past.

How do I know I am voting 100% Pro-Life?
