Attached are Prayer Directives from Nebraska Family Council. Included are prayer targets regarding four important bills of legislation before the 100th Nebraska Legislature.

Prayer Requests:
We ask that you pray for the victims of hurricane Katrina
We ask that you pray for the Men and Women in our military, domestically and overseas and their safety.
We ask that you pray for the thousands of children lost every year to abortion and infantcide. We have Examples of prayers for the unborn and those harmed by abortion every day below.

PRAYER TO CLOSE ABORTION MILLS
Father, all life is in your care.
You have entrusted us to one another
that we may show our brothers and sister
the same love You have for us.
We pray then for the least among us,
the children in the womb,
Protect them from the violence of abortion.
We pray for those who are scheduled to dia at
W OMEN’S SERVICES, O.C. IN OMAHA.
Save them from death.
Give new hope to their parents that they may
turn away from the desperate act of abortion.
Grant conversion to DR. C. J. LABENZ.
and his staff.
Show us how we are to respond to the
bloodshed in our midst.
And lead us to the day when this place of death
will be transformed into a haven of life.
Guard us with your joy and your peace,
for in You, life is victorious.
We pray in the name of Jesus Christ our Lard.

PRAYERS FOR LIFE:
Lord Jesus,
on the night before you died, you said, “This is my body, given up for your.” With these words, you teach us the meaning of love. Your love for us brought you to the cross, to give your life for us. We, too, are called to give our lives for our brothers and sisters.
Lord,
we also hear these words, “This is my body,” used by those who think they can take life, just because that life is growing within their bodies. We hear these words distorted by those who support abortion. Grant that all your people may learn that human fulfillment is never found by pushing someone else out of the way but only and always by yielding our private interest to a greater good.
DEAR GOD,
by whose Will I live and breathe this day
and by whose Grace I have the opportunity to daily earn my way to life with You in Heaven
provide in abundance to all your children the understanding that all life is of You,
and from You,
from conception until the time we are called to live joyfully with you forever.
Amen.
Most loving and merciful Father,
I offer this prayer for those women and men whose hearts and souls have been wounded by the tragedy of abortion.
With your loving grace,
penetrate the wall of denial and hurt that separates them from You
so that they may know and experience the healing power of Your limitless mercy and love.
I ask this through Christ our Lord,
